coz the infantino one is too tight for him..
and i'm gonna order Carters bib for Elton too..
find tat Carters one is the best..

Yesterday went Toa Payoh's Kiddy Palace to get a playpen and walker for Elton..

today at 12pm plus they delivered to my hse!

we got a play pen for Elton due to the limited space between us..

lol..

scared tat either of us will squash him anytime..

still dunno tonite he will be willingly to slp on his own anot..

hopefully he will!

now he's playing wif Z before slping..

and he's making noise when Z dun wanna play wif him anymore..

haha..

gonna go off after blogging tis post..

Power Over Cervical Cancer

If you can prevent a cancer, wouldn’t you? Cervical Cancer is the only woman cancer that is preventable! And everyone needs to know that.

So what does Cervical Cancer really means?

Cervical cancer is cancer of the neck of the womb which is called cervix and is one of the most common cancers that affect a woman’s reproductive organs.

Cervical cancer is the 6th most common cancer among women in Singapore.

The incidence of cervical cancer has reduced considerably in the last few years due to screening with PAP smears.

And what are the causes?

It is not clear what causes the squamous cells or glandular cells of the cervix to become abnormal and develop into cancer.

The human papilloma virus (HPV) has been implicated in causing cervical cancer. However, most women with HPV do not develop cervical cancer.

Risk Factors

Factors which may increase the risk of cervical cancer include:

• Multiple sexual partners will increase the chance of acquiring HPV infection.
• Early sexual activity
• Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis or HIV/AIDS.
• Weak immune system due HIV/AIDS or the use of immunosuppressive drugs such as steroids as in organ transplant patients.
• Cigarette smoking

Some of the symptoms include:

• Vaginal bleeding following intercourse, or in between periods or after menopause
• Watery, bloody vaginal discharge that may be heavy and have a foul smell
• Lower abdominal pain or pain during intercourse

How to prevent Cervical Cancer?

The risk of cervical cancer can be reduced by taking measures to prevent HPV infection. HPV spreads through skin-to-skin contact with any infected part of the body not just through intercourse. These include:

• Using condoms during sex reduces the risk of contracting HPV.
• Delaying first intercourse, having fewer sexual partners and avoiding smoking.
• Getting vaccinated with the HPV vaccine. The vaccine is most effective if given to girls before they become sexually active.
• Having regular Pap smears which are the most effective way to detect cervical cancer.

bought a toy, Drypers and a pillow for Elton..

we bought a new pillow is because his current one stinks too much!

den back home..

ytd nite was damn freaking tired..

coz Elton simply refuses to slp..

even if he does fall aslp,

he will wake up in another 15 mins and start crying!

Finally went Motherhood Exhibition wif sis today!!

damn excited and happy luh!

but the mrt trips to Expo can make me faint!

when i was about to leave hse,

i told Elton tat mummy is going out but will be back soon..

when i came back,

Z told me tat he only fuss for half an hr..

unlike the other time when i went KK hospital to visit laura,

i didn't told him anything..

he cried till i came back home..

2nd Anniversary

Today marks the 2nd year Z and me have been together..
Happy 2nd Anniversary Hubby!
time flies and we have been together for 2 years already..
though we do bicker at times,
but tat is just to spice up our life!
i hope we will be together forever,
seeing our children grow up and become a useful person..

anyway tml will be me and Z's 2nd year together!
3 more days to Elton's 4th month!
Z is starting work tml..
which means Elton won't be able to see him in the daytime until after 10pm :(
i hope they won't drift apart!
